You CAN collect bonecharms, and should so you can craft the 10 necessary for the achievement as well. Make sure that you search everywhere that you can. There is also an achievement for getting 60% of all loot throughout the campaign, meaning that you should be striving to hit at least 60% of all loot per mission.
